Tiandun IP successfully represented the Hague design international registration applications
Recently, the International Bureau of World Intellectual Property Organization issued two International Registration Certificates for the international industrial design applications through the Hague System route represented by Beijing Tiandong Intellectual Property Agency (TianDun IP). TianDun IP, when being entrusted with preparing and filing invalidation request in accordance with the client’s specific needs, has provided professional guidance on the foreign-related intellectual property protection strategy from the early case consultation, which is well reputed by the client.
China officially became a member country of the Hague Agreement on the International Registration of Industrial Designs (The Hague Agreement) in 2022. According to the Hague Agreement, the Chinese applicant only needs to submit one international application to seek protection of industrial design in one or more relevant contracting party(ies). It greatly facilitates the applicant, improves the registration efficiency, and also reduces the registration spend. According to the information that the Hague Agreement is one of the important international intellectual property treaties administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization, and together with the Trademark Madrid Agreement and the Patent Cooperation Treaty, constituting the three major systems in the field of industrial property.
